Medals in AIMO

Three of our PYP students have achieved medals in AIMO International Competition (Asia International Mathematical Olympiad)

This is a great achievement as this is our first competition that Sekolah Ciputra sent a delegation for AIMO.
They were:
1.Gabriell Amadeo Christian – Grade 4 for Gold Award
2.Lorenzo Anson Poedijono – Grade 5 for Silver Award
3.Mike Limantara – Grade 4 for Silver Award
Congratulations!

Praise God I received a Gold medal. Competitions are not about being a champion, but more about competing with yourself. The key is praying, practicing and believing in yourself and you can be the best version of yourself. – Gabriell Amadeo Christian

When I saw the AIMO questions, I felt very excited and interested, because the questions were really challenging, but that is the best part about it. It was hard but I also loved it because it was a new chance for me to see new questions that I haven't seen before. – Lorenzo Anson Poedijono

I was surprised I was chosen for the AIMO competition this year in April. It was my first time joining the AIMO competition and I knew that it was going to be hard. The competition was challenging because the participants were from all over Asia. The questions were hard but I got used to them. I was grateful to get the silver award. I only got it because I practiced with my parents and teachers from Sekolah Ciputra, I was grateful for their support. They taught me the strategies for the competition. Thank you to Sekolah Ciputra for giving me the opportunity to join this competition, it was an amazing experience. – Mike Limantara
