It's great news to know that one of our students, Clifford Asher Irwanto (HS student) , joined the World Jamboree last August 1-12, in SaemanGeum, South Korea.
“It was an incredible experience to take part in the World Scout Jamboree in Saemangeum, South Korea, from August 1 to August 12. The location I was staying in was a reclamation site that had formerly been farmland.
The best part was feeling like a part of this scouting event, meeting many other Scouts from all around the world, and feeling like we were all connected even if we spoke different languages and had different backgrounds. There, I did lots of things, including making new friends, participating in activities as a unit, and most importantly bonding. The atmosphere was one of joining together, sharing knowledge, and making friends with people from all over the world. I felt really proud being able to participate in the name of Indonesia, as it was my first experience participating in an event this big with over 150 countries.”
Once again congratulations Clifford!
