Congratulations to Lorenzo Anson Poedijono (HS Student) for winning the Bronze Medal in the Piala Walikota Fencing Competition.

“On July 21, 2023, I joined a fencing competition. This was my first competition, and it was at a very high level (Jawa Timur), with over 200 participants from over 6 categories joining the competition. The contest was held at SUTOS (Town-Square) in Surabaya. I got a bronze medal in the U-13 foil category, beating 24 others who joined. It felt exhilarating when I played and accepted my medal. I really enjoy fencing as it is a really fast-paced sport that requires the utmost attention to detail, concentration, technique, and speed. I hope that in the near future I can keep improving and excelling at the sport.”
