The athletes love to see their friends and families in the stands cheering them on, and it is great for school spirit to come together to support our students whenever possible. The timing of the games made it difficult to send as many staff and students as we would have liked, but we did our best to support the teams when we could.
A special congratulations goes out to the Senior Boys' Team that made it to the Great 8 round of the tournament, which is the farthest a Sekolah Ciputra Senior Team has made it in many years. The final game was exciting, with both teams taking the lead back and forth throughout. It came down to the final seconds of the game, but unfortunately for our team we ended up losing by 2 points. We are very proud of how well the team kept their composure, coming back to tie up the game in the last 10 seconds, having played without one of their best players for much of the 4th quarter. It was truly a team effort, and they set a good example for our Junior DBL Teams to follow as they prepare for their upcoming tournament. We look forward to seeing our students, parents, staff and alumni at their games over the next few weeks as well. Let's go Eagles!
