The Competition Club is a CCA that has been set up to help Junior and High school students find and prepare Chinese dramas' and enter competitions.
The CCA is a central hub for the many competitions and opportunities that students can participate in to broaden their horizons and hone their skills.
It is open to anyone – all you have to do is show interest!
We currently have many different competitions from all over the world that we are joining, for example, the Chinese New Year performance, a short drama and speech. The short drama will include how Chinese originally celebrated Chinese New Year, and explain the meaning of CNY during a speech. These activities give our students an opportunity to engage, learn and grow.
We meet at 3.10 pm – 3.55 pm every Wednesday and we use that time to do 2 things:
- Prepare a short Chinese drama
- Prepare a Chinese speech
In a typical week, we might have two students working together on a script for speech, whilst another group prepares for an upcoming short Chinese drama.
The Competition Club is run for the students of Sekolah Ciputra.
We had many fantastic results from our students who entered competitions during 2021-2022, and I have no doubt that this year will be better .
